Email communication plays a vital role in ensuring you receive important updates and notifications from Kyckr without any interruptions. To ensure you never miss a message from us, you will need to ensure Kyckr emails are added to your allow list, also known as a whitelist. This ensures that our emails land safely in your inbox.
For some organisations, this may require you to raise a request or ticket with your IT department. However, it’s also worth following the below steps to ensure our emails don’t get caught in your junk or spam folder.
Gmail
Open Gmail: Sign in to your Gmail account if you're not already logged in.
Open an Email: Locate an email from the sender or domain you want to whitelist. It can be an existing email or a new one.
In Gmail, you can specify a specific email address (e.g. info@kyckr.com) or you can whitelist a whole domain by omitting everything before the @ symbol (e.g. @kyckr.com).
The former will whitelist one specific email address while the latter will whitelist anyone who is sending emails from that domain.
Click on the Sender's Name: In the email, click on the sender's name or email address. This will open a pop-up window with additional information about the sender.
Choose Add to Contacts: In the pop-up window, click on the three dots (more options) icon (usually represented by more info) and select Add to Contacts. This action will add the sender to your Gmail Contacts list.
Add a Contact: A new window will appear where you can edit the new contact details. Verify that the sender's email address is correct, and you can also add any additional information you want. Then, click the save button.
Confirm Whitelisting: Once you've saved the contact, Gmail will confirm that the sender has been added to your contacts. This action effectively whitelists the sender, ensuring that future emails from this sender will land in your inbox.
Check Spam Folder: If you've previously marked emails from this sender as spam, you may want to check your spam folder and move any legitimate emails to your inbox to ensure they are delivered correctly.
